The lockdown status has been lifted. This means that we are now free to go around Khartoum town.. yeayyyy!
There are exceptions of course. And places that are still out of bounds. But when you are holed up in a confined space for more than a week, just being able to step out of the Complex can already make you smile.. :)
Anyway, Dodi and Rosli are now in KL.. enjoying their Raya break.
So that leaves me, Izman and the East geng.We went out to Ozone for breakfast semalam.. fuuuhh.. the chocolate mousse has never tasted better. Hehe. So drama kan?
And then we did our grocery shopping. It didn't matter that I only had five more nights left (counting last night too) in Khartoum before I go back to Malaysia. I still bought close to SDG200 worth of goods comprising onions, carrots, chicken wings, 2 boxes of juice, a kg of sugar, a can of evaporated milk, some caramel powder and chocolates and yogurts for the kids.Yes, that was all I bought. Enough to last me for the week, I think.
I also watched a few movies:
1. Ghost - Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore.. (I love Whoopi Goldberg's character in the movie.. heheh.. Good ol' Ode Mae Brown)
2. Do Re Mi - P.Ramlee's classics memang the best kan.. Doesn't matter that the jokes are so crude and bodoh, sometimes
3. RIPD - Ahhhh... I thoroughly enjoyed this movie featuring Kevin Bacon and Ryan Renolds. I love movies involving aliens.. hehehe..
4. Confessions of a Shopaholic - it was playing on TV again, and I watched it again. I lurveee that movie.
So itu lah. A typical weekend. I cooked (nasi goreng and sambal ikan bilis), watched TV, read my book and lazed around.. catching up with friends on Whatsapp and Facebook..

Five more working days and I'm off to my Homeland.. woohoooo... Have a good week ahead, everyone..
