Anyway, I had a very lazy weekend. And I do mean, LAZY. I didn't do much. Didn't walk much. Didn't even step out of my little apartment in the last two days.
I watched a couple of movies - Grudge Match, The Lake House, Bad Teacher and You've Got Mail.
I cooked - had ketupat palas (instant ye..) and kuah kacang (instant, tapi modified a little) for lunch semalam. Hahah. Sempat lagi host lunch for Geng Tulips. (Nasib ada Ezlin's yummylicious nasi goreng jugak.. heheh..lunch was simple but so sedap...)
On Friday, I grilled some chicken for lunch and then the Geng had pizza for dinner. Tu pun yummylicious. And we ended up watching a movie on TV, Law Abiding Citizen.
So itu lah. My weekend. I cleaned the house a bit (with help from the cleaner of course), unpacked my two big bags that I brought back from Malaysia and played with my iPad. Sambil dengar lagu on my new Dr Dre headphones.

In any case, he's a good friend and it's sort of my early birthday gift. :)
But yeah. This headphone is super duper awesome. I have to thank Izman for introducing me to Dr Dre. It was love at first sight when I tested out his Dr Dre's headphones. Cuma, only bummer is that I have to recharge the headphones selalu. Which is kinda bleaurghhh lah kan.
Oh dear. I am indeed, rambling. So many random thoughts running through my head.
But what I want to say is that..
I had a very relaxing weekend. Which is funny cuz life seems more chaotic in Malaysia.
Yup yup.. was in Malaysia for two weeks
And yet, I didn't have time to see all the friends that I wanted to see. In fact, I was having breakfast with Zareek one morning (he came all the way to KLCC to have breakfast with me), but I had to leave him halfway because I had to rush off to the EP Townhall.
I even got a packet of habatus sawdah and some kakader tea bags for a friend, but really had no time to see her and pass the stuff to her.
I also wanted to take my parents to this superb asam pedas joint (cuz mum is a fan of asam pedas) but I was stuck in traffic and by the time I arrived home, it was too late to go out again.
Oh. To make things worse, I actually fell sick during one of the days that I was in Malaysia and spent the whole day just sleeping at home.
I didn't even see the Bedahs (my ex-Convent gang), although I badly wanted to hang out with them.
So many things to do... so little time. It's indeed like a race... living in KL. We race from one place to another, trying to beat the traffic, if we're lucky.
We race to see who can get a good parking spot in a crowded mall.
We are always rushing between appointments.
Oh well. That's my life in KL.
Anyway....
Lili's gone back to Malaysia. For good. I will do a special tribute to him, although I doubt he reads my blog. But it's ok. He deserves a whole entry sebab he's one of my closest friends here. Heheh. And we've shared so many moments together..
Life has gone back to normal for me here. Work. Home. Occasionally pi beli groceries or do dinners. Heh. I seriously have to explore Khartoum more. Heck, I am ashamed to say that I have not even stepped into their museum.
Ayo.
