London Raya

London was awesome. As expected. :)

I did so many new things that I didn't get to do the last time I was in London. This time around, there was no London Eye, Tower of London, Big Ben, Hyde Park, Madame Tussauds etc.

Anyway, will talk about London later. For now, these are just some of my favorite pictures from the London trip:

How can I not like Emirates? The Lounge invitation is every welcoming.. especially when you arrive from London at 8am and had to wait for another 7 hours to board your next flight..
I love this signage. A good reminder for me to get some good books.

Me and Rave sempat ber-posing at the Malaysian High Comm on Belgrave Square sebelum sembahyang raya. Proud is to wear the baju kurung even dalam train and around London.. :)
Sempat tengok musical. "We Will Rock You" was awesome! And nope, I didn't fall asleep.. hahaha. (Not like the time I watched Cendrillon in Paris.. hahahaha..)
Ahhh.. finally. A picture with the phone booth which is synonymous to London. (I don't think the phones are in good working condition anymore.. tapi the phone booths are so London kan?)
My most favorite place in London: The M&M's World!

Ahhh... Happiness is just being inside the M&M's World!
I think my dream job would be working in the Mix Lab at the M&M's world.. where I can mix and match chocolates and letak dalam container.. hehe..

Oh, I even did a day tour to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath. Apparently, Windsor Castle is still being used tapi we got to go inside sebab the Queen sedang bercuti di Scotland. Now I love castles kan.. but this one cam pelik sikit cuz tak rasa cam old medieval castle. Inside the castle are modern furniture sebab it's still being used by the Queen to host her guests. In fact, the Queen also has her private library in the middle of the castle area.

Best part is, from the castle, you can actually see part of Eton College.. (where Prince William was schooled).
Windsor Castle grounds
I never quite understand the fascination for Stonehenge. Although some say that Merlin the wizard was associated to the stones. Apa pun, I have a picture with the stones! Hahahahha...
Happy sigh.. my most favorite station in the whole wide world.. the Paddington Station...
Oh.. and of course, thanks to gambar Izman ngan lobsters when he was in Dubai, it made me crave for good lobsters.. So, makan lobster was one of the items in the 'must-do-in-London' list.

Awesome lobsters at Burger & Lobsters on Dean St, near Leicester Square. A lobster dish cost GBP20 tapi sangat berbaloi! Yummmmssss
Happy giler dapat lobster..
And after the lobster treat, we took a stroll at the Soho Square.. And what a pretty sight it was! People just lazing around at the park, enjoying the warm (yet windy) weather..Hmmm.. if I were a Londoner, I would want to just lie on the grass and read my book kan? Bliss...

Gambar ni kena besarkan sikit.. so that can see the background better.. heheh..
Oh.. and I did manage to buy 2 books. Cost me GBP25, both books. Expensive cuz they're brand new.. but it's okay. I love the smell of new books anyway.. Can't wait to read them... ;)

I love reading on my phone sebab it's convenient.. but nothing beats holding a book in your hand, kan?
So itu lah my quick getaway to London... itinerary was as follows:
Wednesday: Arrived in London at 7am. Checked in at Best Western Paddington. Gi Oxford Street. Had Chinese Food at Bayswater. Slept early.
Thursday: Semayang Raya kat Malaysian High Comm at Belgrave Square. Fish & Chips brunch at Paddington. Trafalgar Square. M&M's World.Watched the musical "We Will Rock You" at the Dominion Theatre.
Friday: Windsor Castle. Stonehenge. Bath. Dinner at Jamie Oliver's diner.
Saturday: Train to Bicester Village. Watched "The Conjuring" at the Vue Cinema near Leicester Square.
Sunday: Lobster brunch at Burger & Lobsters. Last minute shopping at Oxford St. And train back to Heathrow.

 Blessed..
