In all honesty, I am feeling a little under the weather.
I have been feeling kinda feverish over the last few days. Some times, I feel like puking. Some times, I feel like my tummy is acting up.
There is a bug going on in the Complex because almost everyone is feeling slightly under the weather.
But alas.. this is a very busy week for me.
We have one big event to organize tonight and another possible event happening end of the week. It's all a last minute thing. We were told only last Thursday by the Ministry of Education that the event is to be held today.
So the madness began. Caterers to call and order food. Transportation for the kids. Hall decorations. Montage. Invitation cards to be sent out. VIPs to invite. Certificates to be signed. Cash advance to be made. Tokens to be prepared. I think often times, people forget the magnitude of work to be done before an event.
But Alhamdulillah.. I have a good team, and looks like everything is as planned. Hopefully lah kan. After all, my team and I have been doing office work for a minimum of 10 hours daily since Sunday. Everyone comes in by 8am and no one leaves before 6:30pm.
Oh. And of course, there are the "business as usual" tasks to be done - some other admin matters.
So.. camna nak rasa demam betul-betul? It's like we don't even have time to think about the fever or the scratchy throat.
Hmm.. I still have a few more minutes before the drama starts. Nak semayang Zohor jap.. lepas tu turun and check the hall.
Rehearsals are at 2pm.. and real event is starting at 7:30pm.
Well anyway....
Semalam, I was surfing through the Net to look for quotes (for my Chairman's speech).. and I cam across this nice quote about "isteri".
"The most valuable things in life) are a tongue which mentions God, a grateful heart and a believing wife who helps a man with his faith."Prophet Muhammad (s) as reported in Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 721.
So sweet kan?
Ok. Dah kena panggil. Nak turun for rehearsal. Later..
xoxo
