Random thoughts

I have about 15 mins to blog before lunch arrives. And then I would have to be on standby and greet some visitors at the Complex. I don't usually bother but a friend is part of the delegate.. so I just wanna be there to personally welcome him to Khartoum.

Not that he needs any welcoming.. since he was once posted to this very Country.

Well anyway.. here's just some random thoughts..

Sudanese love to "lepak" and drink gahwah (coffee) or chai (tea). So far, I've only seen the men doing it. It's very rare to see girls joining in for the coffee/tea sessions. But yeah.. it's a common sight. Anywhere there's space, they will set up their coffee/tea corner.

Price of coffee or tea ranges between SDG2 to SDG4 or SDG5 per small glass. Oh. And please don't ask where their water source comes from ya.. or how they wash the glasses after that... Heh. :)

Such a nice view.. the sun is rising.. the beginning of a new day. And this was taken just outside our Complex..
This was taken as we crossed the bridge on the day we went to see the pyramids. The view's awesome. The Nile River looks so peaceful and nice..
Ahhh.. While I don't often see women hanging out at the coffee / tea area, it's very common to see them selling the drinks.
Oh sempat I pergi spa hari tu. At Corinthia Hotel.
Haha. I had such a lousy score. Masuk "longkang" a few times. But it's okay. Memang dah lama tak main pun. :)

Kinda nice and murah to play bowling. Only cost us SDG30 per person / per game. :)
Hahah.. Tu lah. All the mumbo jumbo.

Oh. Guests are arriving soon. Work beckons. Ciao!
