Got this in the email today..
It's gonna be a lonely raya.. err.. well, not exactly lonely lah.. because I'm meeting Ravin and (maybe) Laych in London. There's Sury and Yin-Ying and maybe Iddy too (though I'd need to travel to Colchester to see Iddy kot..).
So yes.. it will not exactly be a lonely raya. Cuma I will be without my parents la. It's gonna be my first Eid'ulFitri without my Mum and Dad. But oh well. It's part of growing up kan. Plus, my parents will be happily spending time with my sister and her hubby and their new baby. They will have lots of fun, I'm sure... showing off the new baby to family and friends.
And me? I will be doing my prayers at the Malaysia Hall, and taking a stroll down Oxford Street, lie on the grass at Hyde Park and read a book.. that kinda stuff. Awesome jugak kan. A different kind of Raya.. :)
And Insya Allah next year, jika dipanjangkan umur, my parents will be celebrating Eid'ulFitri with me and my new family... :)
Ooooohhhh excited. I lurveeee London. Yayyyyy!! Now I need to find a place to stay. All the hotels are pretty expensive (cuz it's Summer).. so I've to resort to www.airbnb.com. Have sent two requests.. one turned me down but I hope this other one will reply me and say that I can stay at her place. Her place is just a few minutes walk from Bayswater tube station..
Oh well. Countdown to London: 49 days! (Heh.. Of course, there's 30 days of Ramadan and 3 major events to organize in between.. heheh)
Okay. Nak semayang sat and balik office. It's lunchtime and I have 15 mins sebelum work starts again.
ps./ SDG5460 is like USD700. Heh. Lebih murah daripada ticket balik Malaysia... bolehhhhh?
