Movie night? Nooooo... it's ayam night! :)

It all started with a simple idea. Dodi said he wanted to host this week's movie night. So we said, "ok..". Lepas tu, someone (can't remember who) came up with this brilliant idea to buat potluck. Potluck rahsia, katanya..

I volunteered to bring dessert. Rosli will do the main dish. Dodi will cook rice. Yang lain-lain tu, pun akan bawa surprise dish.

Tapi when we gathered at Dod's house at 7:40pm (lepas Maghrib), we realized one thing.. with the exception of team Isba + Ezlin, yang lain semua bawa ayam.

Oh, I baked some choc chip cookies (thanks to the tepung yang mama kirim via Ezlin hari tu... cuma tambah butter and egg). But I also made some creamy butter chicken (sebab hari tu, Rosli tak makan pun the butter chicken).

Terasa macam makan kat kampung, katanya.. :)

Dods made stuffed chicken yang diperah lemon yang oh so mat salleh but delicious.. while Izman brought ayam goreng garing and daun kari yang best giler.

So yes, it was an ayam affair during buka puasa semalam.. but everything was soooooo sedap.... Alhamdulillah for the good food.. home cooked.. healthy yet delicious. Alhamdulillah for awesome friends. *Blessed*

Makan makan with awesome people. Betul lah orang kata.. when we are happy, we cook delicious stuff.. sebab semua makanan semalam adalah sedap sedap belaka... Alhamdulillah..

So itu lah.. awesome people make awesome food kan? Hahah.. I so perasan.. but whatever. This is my blog and I can write whatever I want, kan? :)

Cuma satu je lah.. I agak terkilan sebab semalam tak sempat nak rasa Isba + Ezlin's bread, cheese and meat stuffings sebab I was too kenyang masa buka puasa. Konon nak makan masa tengok movie.. but I was too penat that I was just lying on the couch je.. hehe..

Harap-harap, the bread with cheese and meat stuffings tu masih ada lagi. Sebab I sooo nak rasa.. :)

Anyway, last night, we watched The Croods and Monster University. I sooo like The Croods.. it's sooo cantik.. reminded me so much of Avatar. Monster University is just ok-ok lah.. sebab I still prefer the first movie, Monsters Inc.

Tapi it was such a relaxing Friday.. I slept till noon.. then went to Sena to do my grocery shopping with the boys.. cooked and baked a little.. gi terawih (oh semalam we went to the Garden City mosque.. and imam tu memang laju.. terawih 10 rakaat + 3 rakaat witir started at 9pm and ended at 9:40pm) and lepas tu lepak tengok movie.. Simple, yet relaxing..

So comel lah my friends.. Bersusun, tengok tv... hehehe.. This is my little family in Sudan, and I love them to bits... :)

Ok lah. Nak mandi. Kejap lagi, nak tukar duit.. and masuk duit dalam sampul. We are visiting some anak-anak yatim today..
