| What's on your mind, Facebook? |
So what's on my mind this Sunday morning?
Err... apart from work - emails to work on, pictures and articles to send to KL, etc - there are a few things that are running in my head these past few days..
1. Egypt's street protests have led to the toppling of (former) President Morsi. Interestingly, he's the first democratically elected President in Egypt and was only in office for a year. So are the people in Egypt happier now? Quite the contrary. Street protests / riots / clashes continued and more people were killed. It's now about religion. Christianity vs Islam. Islamist vs Secularist. Sigh. Issues will never be resolved through violence. When will mankind ever realize that?

2. A Boeing 777 operated by the Korean airline Asiana crashed while landing at San Francisco International Airport yesterday. Sigh. I actually like the Boeing 777. Whenever I take the Dubai-KL route, I'd rather fly the 777 than the A380. So it's kinda scary bila baca stories like these. Even scarier is the fact that this is the second Boeing 777 incident. A Boeing 777 crash landed at Heathow Airport (London) in 2008.

3. Just realizing how blessed I am to have awesome people around me. Izman was a great help at Friday's event and when I was tired and hungry (after the event), Rosli cooked a bowl of delicious maggi mee for me. And last night, the event ended late and they didn't serve dinner.. but Dods asked me to drop by his house to take some of his spaghetti. Yes, I'm so blessed kan.. to have kind friends who keep me nourished. Alhamdulillah.

4. Thinking apa lah nasib si Edward Snowden ni. I've been following his story. Kesian jugak. Konon nak jadi hero and menegakkan keadilan. But really, sometimes it's best to shut up and mind your own business, kan? I know his conscience probably will not allow it.. but doesn't he realize that he's hurting a lot more people? Now his family and girlfriend pun akan risau sebab tak tahu nasib dia. Sigh. He should have just quit the NSA and start his own business.. jual hotdog at Times Square for instance. Sometimes, you get more peace of mind doing 'normal' / 'unimportant' things.
5. Khairy Jamaluddin is getting hotter by the day. No kidding. Especially when he rolls up his sleeves.. heheh..

| Oh. And he wears his watch on his right hand too.. like me! ;) |
Ok. Ok. Enough drooling. Gotta get back to work. Work. Work. Work. Mencari rezeki yang halal... :)
ps./ Malam ni, we all nak gi Spectra again. Yayyyyyy!
